Fly Fishing can be an intimidating sport to get into, full of weird terminology and expensive gear. Fly School was designed to be as accessible as possible, a fly fishing learning experience for everyone. Over the course of a half day on the water you’ll learn the basics of fly fishing, from putting your rod together to how to wade a river. We promise a fun day full of beautiful places, dialed in instruction, mediocre jokes and maybe something good to eat.

Guided Trips vary seasonally but are usually conducted on the beautiful trout waters of Western Maryland. Rivers like the Youghiogheny, Potomac and Casselman have been our home for the last several years, and the main inspiration for our guide service. We also love to chase brook trout and those trips can be specially requested for adventurous anglers.
